AMERICAN COLLEGIANS FOR LIFE EMERGENCY INFO RELEASE DECEMBER 31, 1994 FOR MORE INFO CONTACT: Steve Ertelt ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ACL OPPOSES CLINIC VIOLENCE IN MASS. American Collegians for Life takes a strong stand in opposition to the recent acts of violence at two abortion fascilities in Boston which left two dead and five wounded. "American Collegians for Life has always and will always support peaceful and educational means to let college and university students know that abortion takes a life and is both physically and psychologically harmful to women," indicated Steve Ertelt. "Any actions such as violence, killing, the fanatical militantism employed by such lunatic extremists as Paul Hill and the recent murderer has NO PLACE within the confines of the right to life ethic and such attitudes are NOT felt by the ninety-nine percent of average pro-life Americans who feel that abortion denies a basic human right." Already, hundreds of national, state, and local pro-life organizations have showed their vehement opposition to this and all past violence. American Collegians for Life will continue to operate in a manner consistent with its pro-life belief and stands with other mainstream right to life organizations in presenting the truth about abortion in a positive and peaceful manner and will continue to highlight alternatives to abortion which protect life and strengthen mothers and fathers. (American Collegians for Life is a national organization representing over 5,000 pro-life students and several hundred local and state college and university right to life groups. ACL is a student-run non-profit orgnization dedicated to educating college students on the medical ethics issues of abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia.)
