The demo allows 100 note entries, after which the program must be registered= . Digital Diary is a project management center that gives you fingertip access to the current status of any of your projects, allowing you the ability to go back to see all activities on all projects on any day you choose. On a complex project, there could be a dozen or more separate issues being dealt with at the same time, each of which has its own distinct status and decision process. Wouldn't it be great to be able to pull up the history of each of these issues at any time? Digital Diary organizes note entries into project and day files so that current reports of all activities on any given day or project can be instantly viewed. Projects are organized under user-defined categories in a hierarchical pop-up menu. Projects can be easily transferred between categories, making it ideal for use as a convenient project status indicator. Entries are identified with a header containing the type of activity, project name, category, note number, and date and time of entry. 'To do list' entries will pop up to remind you of unattended items at a chosen future date. Versatile report generation can gather, for example, all notes of a given activity type or project status. These are actual unsolicited comments from users of Digital Diary: "I've downloaded and am using your Digital Diary and I like it a lot." M. Sher, U.S.A. "I have just used Digital Diary. Among tools included is an AppleScript and an application: - Desktop Picture Changer: Changes the desktop picture from pictures in a folder. It can choose them randomly or sequentially. It can change the desktop at specified intervals or just when you run the applet. - Desktop Picture Aligner: A great little tool that lets you set default alignment settings for any picture to be displayed on the desktop. (Freeware) FindErrorLib is a small Power Macintosh native shared library that can be used by C and C++ developers to obtain, at run-time, the name and description, if available, of any of 1,307 Macintosh error codes for display in error alerts or dialogs. Since the shared library can be "weak-linked" to the application, the developer has the option of using it during development and, if so desired, not including it with the final software release, with no code modifications required to remove it. Minor updates to the shared library can be performed by simply replacing it in the System folder, with no need to recompile any application that uses it. FindErrorLib v1.2 contains a code fragment that accesses an internal compilation of information derived from the Apple Universal Headers files, Universal Interfaces 3.1, and is current as of Mac OS 8.1. The FindErrorLib v1.2.sit archive includes the shared library, sample code for accessing it, and about 4 pages of detailed information regarding its installation and use.
