I'm going to be in Pasadena in a couple of weeks and would appreciate any
suggestions about convenient places for stunt flying.  I may or may not
have a car at my disposal.

Ken,

Pasadena is not known for it's wind, but the last couple of days it
actually hasn't been too bad.

A couple of likely places in town would be:

 Victory Park (210 fwy to Altadena Dr.  Go north to Paloma.)

Cal Tech athletic field (210 fwy to HIll Ave.  Go south to California
St.  Turn right to Wilson.  South on Wilson and find a place to park.
There is an entrance to the west side of the field on Wilson.  The
field is sometimes closed for golf practice, baseball batting and
fielding practice, etc. so please check it out before you fly.  If
anyone asks you to move, please oblige as they've been generally 
quite good about not giving us a hard time about using their field.

The Rose Bowl has some fairly large grassy areas around it, but the
winds can be somewhat turbulent due to the trees and so on.  However
it's worth a try if the wind is blowing in town.
