WOW Air was an Icelandic operator flying tourists and holiday travellers from Iceland to Europe and North America. Most of WOW's planes were violet with large white WOW texts, but some were the reverse, large violet WOW texts on a white plane. WOW Air ceased all operations and was declared bankrupt in March 2019.
This TF-SIS was an Airbus A320-232. It was delivered to Air Via in 2010 and Air Via leased it to WOW Air from 03/2013. WOW returned the machine to Air Via 11/2018.

WOW Air ordered also four Airbus A330 large machines and used them for long routes from Keflavik to Los Angeles and San Francisco, but finally could not pay them and had to give up the new machines. But cutting the fleet back to narrow body planes did not anymore help. It was stated that these wide body Airbuses were the beginning of the end for WOW.
