United Airlines Boeing B737 N77258 is seen here taxiing at LAX. It is a Boeing B737-800 NG (next generation) machine which was originally delivered to Continental Airlines in 2000. United bought it in October 2010.

This is the United Airlines Boeing B777 version 224ER no. N57016. It was first taken in use by Continental Airlines in May 2000 and switched over to United in October 2010.

Another Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner, the N28912 taxiing at Schiphol airport. This Dreamliner seems to be currently flying back and forth between Amsterdam, Chicago and Kahului. This one was taken in use in June 2014.

This old veteran plane is nowhere to be seen any more. N290UE is/was a British Aerospace BAe 146-200 which was a precursor of the more modern Avro RJ70 and Avro RJ100. The first flight of this plane was already in 14.08.87. It flew for at least United Express, Delta Connection and Air Wisconsin until stored/scrapped in 2007. When this picture was taken it was already a very old plane. But it was also much needed because of its remarkable STOL capabilities. Here we see it at the Aspen - Pitkin County airport and to reach that airfield the pilots have to fly a long and curvy route with mountains on both sides and then the runway is remarkably short. Basically at the time of this picture in 2005 the machine did nothing else than flew the short connection Aspen - Dallas back and forth.
