A division of Metrolinx, GO Transit is the regional public transit service for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

Here we see a double-decker rush-hour passenger train approaching Toronto Union station, which is the hub of Go Transit's services. These trains are built from Bombardier's BiLevel Coaches. These are push-pull trains powered by one or two EMD F59PH or MP40PH-3C built by MPI. Today the most common locomotives are of the type MP40PH-3C. This is one of them. This one numbered 600 is from 2008-2009.

The doubledecker coaches built by Bombardier are not old, but they look somehow quite old-fashioned.

Seen from nearby, the MPI MP40PH-3C is a huge machine. This individual one is from the fourth batch from 2010-2011.
