Many Christians have a desire to participate in missions. But the realities of 1990's living leave them with few options to explore how this might happen. At PFC we believe the gifts you have, appropriately channeled, are essential to the welfare of the Church. We will work with you to find the best avenues for you to use your skills for maximum impact in the Kingdom of God. WHAT DOES PFC DO? Provides opportunities for Christians to use their professional and personal skills* to serve the local and mission Church. (*Business, Marketing, Sales, Teaching, Speaking, Computer [Hardware, Software, Network etc.], Administration, Accounting, Consulting, Planning, etc. etc. --- you have it, we'll use it.) HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? You receive a PFC briefing (online or face-to-face), Fill out a Personal Profile Form (PFC adds your info to PFC Database), Consider specific opportunities (which PFC "posts") and PARTICIPATE IN MISSIONS PROJECT, be it from your home / virtually (electronically), or on-the-spot. WHAT SERVICES? Project opportunities call for a wide array of skills. Services are targeted towards three groups: - Local churches - Mission organizations - Business entrepreneurs (who want to free up time/resources for missions) Projects are mostly short term in nature and may be local or overseas. We make every effort to ensure that your existing skills are utilized most effectively and efficiently. WHY PFC? Many churches and mission organizations have needs, but don't know that/how business professionals can meet them. PFC addresses these issues by: - Identifying people who want to serve (missions-minded professionals) - Profiling and packaging their skills - Identifying service opportunities (i.e., helping the Church figure out what it really needs) - Matching professionals with service opportunities - Providing project planning, infrastructure and resources (facilitating the "going") PFC addresses key challenges facing the Body of Christ by: - Releasing world class professional skills to local and mission churches - Narrowing the gap between local and mission churches - Reducing the "Secular-Sacred" dichotomy by building links between life at work and in the Church - Equipping people to proactively plan for a greater involvement in missions - Empowering the 2/3World church to fund their new wave of missions and church growth WHAT CAN YOU DO NEXT?
